DC04CHAD is a bidirectional charging station based on V2H (Vehicle-to-Home) technology, which allows energy to flow between the car and home.
The idea of bidirectional charging is that the car is charged when the energy price is cheap (e.g. the night tariff applies) or when there is an excess of it in the household (during the day, energy is taken from solar panels). When the house runs out of electricity (e.g. there is a sudden power cut or the energy becomes more expensive), the car can return the collected energy and become an emergency power supply.
The DC04CHAD station is compatible with cars with a CHAdeMO charging connector, eg Nissan Leaf, Mitsubishi Outlander.
The charging station works as an energy source for an electric vehicle, an uninterruptible power supply, a power supply for home appliances, as well as an energy source when going camping.
